This video has had over 420,000 views – 911 Commemoration

So my starting routine for this tour is to get up in the morning (very important move) get to the book I am proclaiming from that day and ask God for a headline to hang His stuff on. Then I (as I will each day)

1. Pray.
2. Get the car and stuff ready.
3. Get going
4. Keep going
5. Park the car
6. Pray
7. Connect
8. Proclaim
9. Follow up
10. Tactically withdraw
11. Pray
12. Record
13. Communicate
14. Sleep

So Roy Baylis had arranged that I meet with Mark Markiewicz at Saint Pauls Cathedral for the joint fire services Memorial Day service for the victims of 911. Mark and I did so,  had coffee and then lined up with all the gold braided dignitaries, fire fighters from around the world, troops with red berets, parachute regiment insignia all parading with chests like ‘My Brother Slyvest’ and sporting shiny black boots. The British chaps of course had the real shiny boots, those that had still been done by hand, all layered with a lifetime of spit and polish. We marched up into St Paul’s through two lines of smartly dressed fire service personal all toting their county flags, to be greeted by a live brass band inside St Pauls rattling out Holst.

The service was carried off like only we Brits can carry off a service like that. We are very good at pomp and circumstance. The new Anthem based on HM Queens’s words was sung. “Grief is the price we pay for love.” I was speechless. It was magnificent. The American ambassador spoke, a survivor of the towers shared, candles were lit, and the short sermon message missed the mark. Shame. We sang ‘He who would valiant be’ and then slowly marched out. It was a magnificent service. I was moved, spoken to, ministered to. Helped.

Mark took me for lunch and then paid for it. It was at Café Rouge and I had a roast beef dinner. Apart from then wanting a good kip and a lie down in a dark room, all men know that an Englishman can face almost anything after Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, so, after a coffee, we toured Paternoster square walking around the golden pineapple memorial to the 20,000 books burnt in the blitz and looking for a place to proclaim from Genesis. The space before St Paul’s, facing the main entrance looked like the ideal place. We prayed.

I set up my PA (forgot to turn on my digital audio recording device..Sigh…) put up my pavement/sidewalk sign and began. The little PA did well, the whole of the front of St Paul’s turning into a giant amphitheatre booming back my voice down the steps and bouncing off the passing buses. Half way through a woman approached me, I turned off the mic “You have ruined my day” she said “I came here for quiet end mediation, my mother has just passed away and you have ruined my day and are ruining everyone else’s day” I apologise, asked if I could pray for here. She said no and walked off. I turned on my Mic and carried on.

I finished and told people I had free Bibles to give away. Three folks came up, a Jamaican lady called Daisy and two exceptionally tall Polish young men, who told me in broken English that the church stunk, was ruining their country and was only interested in money. I apologised, saw their point, gave them a Bible and then freaked them out by praying for them right their and then.

We packed up. 1 of 66 was completed.

Mark and Me then went for coffee and met with Roy (another Roy) who was interested in doing some video about the tour. We were sat outside supping coffee alongside the Cutty Sark (which had now been turned into a jaunty pirate ship) whilst humanities
masses milled by. Roy ( an absolutely super chap and so willing to come and help) was sad that he had missed the St Paul’s proclaim and wanted me to go back and do it again. I felt that was now spent though and so we opted to walk down by the river Thames adjacent to Tower Bridge at one of the Clipper boarding points and proclaim again. So off we went, I tried to gather a crowd and then went for it. It was a tough crowd, there was a bit of booing and on the whole, apart from a couple of smiling and attentive Christians who were passing by, my words fell on hard hearts.

We went back to the car, Roy was still interviewing me and the camera was rolling and even to my own ears ,I was beginning to sound like Ian Paisley with a toothache  and so when Roy suggested my message was too judgemental and needed to contain the love of God, I told him “that wasn’t the issue.” The issue was a bread and jam issue. I can offer people bread, but without the jam, the moving of the Hoy spirit to convict the world of sin righteousness and judgement to come, all my preaching was  to no avail. He didn’t agree. I needed to proclaim the love of God. So, right there and then I put down my portable PA and I stood on my speaker, holding on to the open hatchback of the car, and above the milling masses, cried out in a loud voice that “If anyone wanted to know how much God loved them, How he had got something free and wonderful for them to come and see me now and it would be my privilege to tell them. Anyone!” I said, “It’s completely free! God’s love you, so come and get it whilst it’s hot.”

No one came.

I don’t think I proved my point. And now I was beginning to get depressed.

We packed up and as I began to head on out, I was invited by Roy to go along to a Sunday night Christian gathering in London, and so I went along for a blessing, indeed, it was good to be found with these good folks. For me though, after an hour of singing to Jesus about just how beautiful He was, getting in the river, getting showered, and all whilst watching some very good looking sisters ‘strut their stuff,’ I felt it was time to go to bed. If I didn’t look at the dancing girls too much, my thoughts didn’t go awry, but for me, the girliness of the singing and the shallow sentiment of the love songs, were making my gay genes begin to kick in and my masculinity was shrinking by the second. Bunyan would not have been blessed. he would not have felt valient. However, I think it was the unfortunate words uttered from the front indicating that “when I went to bed that night Jesus was gonna touch me in places I had never been touched before” that as a man, was now making my bed look even less attractive. It was time to go.

And we wonder why men are not coming along to church.

Now fortunately, Sevenoaks isn’t too far from the city, though my iPad free sat Nav did take me the longest way, through so many red lights, that I am so glad I didn’t need to pee. Bridget was waiting, waiting with homemade steak pie! I had returned from the first day’s mission, to a beautiful woman, a warm heart, warm hands and a steak pie. I mean c’mon! That’s manly! Desperate Dan, eat your heart out. Bed began to look welcoming once more.

Ravenhill called the Pulpit a ‘coward’s castle’. He was right of course. But I like pulpits and listening ears. I hate street preaching. I don’t think it works. However, likke I say, making it work is not my responsibility. My responsibility is to proclaim the Word in some way, somehow, somewhere, to some people. I am the Martini Minister, you know, “anytime any place anywhere, there’s a wonderful Word I can share”.

Its day 1 of 66 and I do honestly wonder if this tour will do any good. Am I just some nutter with a Bible ranting on street corner? Is this a good thing, is it honouring to Christ? Should I be wearing a surplus inside the walls of saint Paul’s, saintly like, just sucking on marbles and singing Psalms softly? The latter is certainly more acceptable. I honestly don’t know. However, I do know that I have the bread….but I also know that without the jam…there is no sandwich….. Will there be any Jam on this tour?

Oh here’s a summary of the message from Genesis prepared for the City of London |

We need to fire God! – We need to get rid of God!We need to throw Him out!

I am an ordained minister of the Most High God Almighty and I SAY WE NEED TO GET RID OF GOD here in the city of London

Gather round and give me a few minutes to tell you why……

On this memorial anniversary of the 911 Disaster in New York’s Financial Centre-let me tell you why we need to get rid of God

The city of London, this Square Mile’s Main Occupation is the

  • Provision of financial services. The
  • Protection of financial services
  • Promotion of Financial Services on a Global Level

The Coat of Arms of the City of London sports the Motto | Domine Dirige Nos | “Lord Direct Us”

And I say today – If God is directing the Financial services of the City of London, then

He is doing a crap Job and we need to get rid of Him!!!

However, THE MAIN REASON FOR THE MESS WE ARE IN IS THAT WE ARE NOT in fact SEEKING GOD’S DIRECTION

And one of the reasons for this is that

CHRISTIANS HAVE FAILED TO BE GOOD SALT and

When “the salt of the earth loses its savour” universal corruption sets in.

Nadine Dorries – tried to get a bill through the house of commons – proposing pre-abortion counselling be carried out by people no having a vested interest in the procedure….

BBC Radio 4 got the representative head of Christian organization based in the City of London and asked her – “if abortion is a grievous sin- and – would you ever counsel a woman and tell her abortion is a grevious sin” – and oh my goodness the hop scotching side stepping dancing of the answer given, was pitiful in the extreme

She refused to say abortion was a sin – she refuse to say that – murder of a creature created in the image of God is a sin

THE SALT HAS LOST ITS SAVOUR AND INSTEAD OF PRESERVATION BEING PROVIDED

THIS PIECE OF MEAT CALLED BRITAIN IS BECOME A ROTTING CADAVER COVERED IN THE FLIES OF SELFISH CORRUPTION

AND WHEN SELFISH CORRUPTIONS SETS IN WE GET RID OF GOD

AND WHEN WE GET RID OF GOD

  • Greed is at the helm
  • Self serving Protection is at the helm
  • Self Serving Manipulation is at the helm and its always at the expense of others

We can drop hundreds of millions of pounds worth of munitions on Libya

We can happily let them cope with probably over 50,000 dead at the moment

And justify that in the name of freedom

whilst letting 750,000 Somalian’s hang on the cusp of starvation and DO NOTHING

“Domine Dirige Nos – LORD DIRECT US” | WHAT A JOKE!

FIRE GOD I SAY- SACK HIM – GET RID OF HIM BECAUSE HE’S DOING AN AWFUL JOB!

BUT NO – LETS BE HONEST – THE MAIN REASON FOR THE MESS WE ARE IN IS THAT WE ARE NOT SEEKING GOD’S DIRECTION

WE’VE ALREADY GOTTEN RID OF HIM

AND I WANT TO TELL YOU WHY WE HAVE DONE THIS -IN THIS ONCE CHRISTIAN NATION

THE FIRST BOOK OF THE BIBLE TELLS US OF A WORLD WHERE SIN ABOUNDS

GENESIS CHAPTERS 6-9 TELL OF THE HISTORY OF NOAH

Genesis 6:5-9

5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah Pleases God 9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

NKJV

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.NKJV

  • his mind was warned of God;
  • his heart was moved with fear, and
  • his will acted on what God told him.

Noah’s actions must have generated a great deal of interest and probably ridicule as well. Noah’s faith influenced his whole family and they were saved. It also condemned the whole world, for his faith revealed their unbelief.

Events proved that Noah was right though! And even Jesus used Noahs story to warn people to be ready for His return check out – (Matthew 24:36-39).

Matthew 24:32-39

32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near — at the doors!

34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

No One Knows the Day or Hour (Mark 13:32-37; Luke 17:26,27,34,35; 21:34-36) 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

In Noah’s day, the people were involved in innocent everyday activities and completely ignored Noah’s witness (2 Peter 2:5).

We are doing the same today with Noah’s mighty warnings….. A STORM IS COMING…..

  • Our minds have been warned of God;
  • his heart have been moved with fear,
  • But we have not acted on the information

THE ACT IS TO

REPENT – TO STOP THE WRONG STUFF AND TO START THE RIGHT STUFF

GET INTO THE ARK |A PREPARED PROPTECTIPON FROM THE STORM TO COME

JESUS IS THE ARK OF GOD

GET INTO JESUS – GET SHUT UP INTO HIM

THERE IS A STORM COMING

Hebrews 11:7NKJV

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

We need to be sorry for the fact that we have in fact already fired God

We need to be aware that God has put some fire underneath us

THERE IS A STORM COMING

GET INTO THE ARK OF GOD

GET INTO JESUS
